Welcome to Lake View Primary and Nursery School and thank you for taking the time to visit our school website.

We are a friendly village school that is proud to serve the families of Rainworth and beyond. We believe that your child should be valued as a unique individual, and we want them to enjoy every single minute of their time with us. We aim to provide a safe, happy and exciting environment in which your child can thrive.

Our school has a shared set of ‘Values’ upon which all the work in our school is based and help is to make a happy and supportive environment to learn in. Our ‘Values’ are:

We think it is important that our children learn to know what these values mean and that they grow up living these values in their own lives.
 
We believe in giving our children quality learning experiences that are both enjoyable and challenging at the same time. We also believe in giving our children a range of quality life experiences through our RSHE curriculum, Values days, trips, residentials and our after school clubs.
 
We want Lake View to be seen as an important part of our local community and we can often be seen out and about in the locality. We also value the partnerships that we have with parents and visitors to our school.

Welcome to Lake View Primary School, 

I hope you enjoy this wonderful school set in the heart of Rainworth. Our focus is on ensuring every child's achieves educational excellence. I can assure you that the staff here will work incredibly heard to ensure you and your child's experience with us is a positive one, setting your child up for the next stage of their education.

Our school is currently in a close partnership with two local primary schools, Heathlands Primary School and Blidworth Oaks Primary School. More information about our Blidworth and Rainworth Primary School Partnership can be found on this website or following the link below.
