Bienvenue!

The modern foreign language that we learn at Lake View is French. Children are taught the four core skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.

 

We use interactive lessons, games, songs and stories using native speakers to help give our children an authentic experience.  They are introduced to essential vocabulary such as greetings, colours, numbers, family, pets and days of the week. Children go on to use this foundation to help build simple phrases and sentences and extend vocabulary further through a series of topics including holidays, sport, school and hobbies.
